Jean-Claude Gruffat is Vice Chairman of the American Hospital Foundation in Paris and member of the Board of Directors of Atlas Network and the Leadership Council of United Way Worldwide. Presently, he is Managing director at Weild Capital LLC, an investment bank that he joined after five years with the New York-based Galileo Group. Between 1998 and 2014, he held various positions at Citigroup, as Country Head for France, Market Head for Global Banking Relations for France, Belgium and Luxembourg, and Director of Citibank International PLC. A member of the United Way Worldwide board between 2014 and 2020, he chaired its development committee from 2017 to 2020. He holds a PhD in law from the University of Lyon, as well as a master’s degree in political science from the same institution.
