Will Ogilvie Vega de Seoane holds a PhD in Philosophy and is a professor at the Universidad de las Hespérides, where he directs the BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) as well as the Great Books Program. His work combines the study of the Greek classical tradition and Alexis de Tocqueville with the analysis of contemporary political and geopolitical questions. He has developed a teaching approach centered on Socratic dialogue and the close reading of original texts, which he applies both in university settings and in programs for professionals. His research focuses on political order, power, and the conditions of freedom. Outside the classroom, he maintains an equally serious commitment to the sea.
