International Summer University in Political Economy: Freedom in Europe 30 Years after the Fall of the Wall

For forty two years Aix-en-Provence, with the Summer University, has been the “rendez-vous” of outstanding faculty and participants coming from around the globe – all sharing a strong interest for classical liberal ideas. Since 1989 IES-Europe has been part of this gathering, supporting students and young scholars in their intellectual journey.
2019 is a special year for IES-Europe as we celebrate 30 years of existence, 30 years of spreading the ideas of liberty to youngsters all over the world! We want this year’s Summer University to bring together liberty lovers from all over the world, especially IES alumni and friends, but also people who want to become a part of this amazing network.
Distinguished speakers from the fields of economics, philosophy, history, and law will join us in the sunny and informal atmosphere of the south of France
