David Schmidtz

David Schmidtz is Kendrick Professor of Philosophy in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences.  He also is Eller Chair of Service-Dominant Logic in the Eller College of Management. He is editor-in-chief of Social Philosophy & Policy He was founding Head of the Department of Political Economy & Moral Science. He is the author, amongst many other works, of A Brief History of Liberty (Wiley-Blackwell, with Jason Brennan), Commercial Society: A Primer on Ethics and Economics (With Cathleen Johnson and Robert Lusch), Environmental Ethics: What Really matters, What Really Works, (Oxford University Press, with Dan C. Shalar), Elements of Justice (Cambridge University Press).
