Jiří Schwarz

Jiří Schwarz is President of the Anglo-American University in Prague, as well as being an economist, and Director of CETA – Center for Economic and Market Analyses. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of L’Institut de Recherches Economiques et Fiscales (IREF), Paris, and served as a member of the National Economic Council of the Czech Republic (NERV) from 2009 to 2013. At the core of his academic work, lays the economics of regulation with a focus on the energy sector and financial markets. He has been serving as a member of supervisory boards of Czech and foreign corporations, including financial institutions, since the mid-1990s. He is also a member of the Mont Pelerin Society, Washington, D.C.
