Kevin Brookes

Kevin Brookes is a lecturer at Sciences Po Paris and Director of the think tank Génération Libre. He teaches political science and the history of economic thought. He regularly comments on current political affairs in media outlets such as Le Point, L’Express, and Le Figaro.

He has worked at the French National Assembly, the French Senate, and within a political party as an adviser to elected officials.

He is the author of a doctoral thesis on the diffusion of liberal ideas in French political life, published as Why Neo-Liberalism Failed In France (Palgrave Macmillan, 2021), and of an essay on French political elites, Que faire de nos élites politiques ? (Plon, 2026).

He is the author of the book "Why Neo-liberalism-failed in France" (Palgrave Mac Millan, 2021). He has taught political sociology and political philosophy in several higher education institutions in France (IEP de Lyon, EPJT Tours, IEP de Grenoble) and in Canada (HEC Montréal). Currently Deputy Director of Studies at Les Républicains.
