Pierre Bentata is an Associate Professor in Economics at the Faculty of Law of Aix Marseille University. He was previously Director of Rinzen and Professor at the Troyes Business School – SCBS. His research currently focuses on market regulation, competition processes between digital platforms and the digital data economy. A prolific young author, he has also published numerous works in which he attempts to decipher the operating modes and aspirations of the younger generations, including: Des jeunes sans histoire (Libréchange 2016), Les désillusions de la liberté (Ed. Observatoire 2018), L’aube des idoles (Ed. Observatoire 2019), De l’esprit de servitude au XXI° siècle (Ed. Observatoire 2021) and Tous notés (Ed. Observatoire 2023). He frequently appears in the major French media.
